Loy Krathong is one of the most beautiful festivals that take place in Thailand to celebrate on the full moon in November. It isn’t a national holiday, but an evening when Thais pay respect to the godess of the waters, to ask for forgiveness in polluting the waterways, and also for good luck in the coming months. At Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa, this year we have prepared and exiting event, great food and beverage experiences, live entertainment with lots of special shows.
Riverside Terrace, International and Thai BBQ Buffet
You will be carried away wonderful memories on this full moon night! With the broad river as a backdrop, the party will start with special grand effects of light and sound while opening the first show “Fon Pang-Pratip” or Candle Dance, the classical Thai music played by the Jongkraben band, followed by special dance performances include Miracle of River, Lotus Dance, Sukhothai, and Sabadchai Drum dance.
The dinner buffet is the largest you will find. Our chefs will be busy keeping the huge spread supplied Andaman seafood display, BBQ station, wok station, Mongolian, Indian, Italian, carvery, sushi counter, teppanyaki style and much more. Price is only Baht 4,500 ++ per person including a glass of Full Moon cocktail served in a Krathong.
The memorial evening will be ended by Krathong contest, Miss Noppamas contest, spectacular fireworks are before the dancers guide you to the pier to float your Krathong.
Manohra Cruises
You can enjoy a wonderful evening on the river, surrounded by its well known highlighted monuments before floating your Krathong out onto the water from the Manohra cruises pier. A magnificent fireworks display will round off a memorable Thai evening. Special set dinner for the night is only Baht 5,300 ++ per person including all the tantalizing traditional Thai dishes.

It’s a different experience at every table, every time at Benihana. Special set menu will include Grilled scallop and poached salmon with dashi soup; Japanese mixed salad with tempura fried shrimps and spicy tobiko caviar mayo; Benihana rolls- grilled foie gras, avocado, cucumber and miso dressing; Hibachi vegetables; Black tiger prawn appetizer; Japanese oyster teppanyaki & Lobster tail with sake white cream sauce, or choose Teppanyaki US beef with garlic snails and Diane sauce; Yellow tail garlic fried rice; Green tea cr?me br?l?e with tropical fruits and ginger sherbet; Japanese green tea. The Rice Mill, Chinese restaurant
Authentic Cantonese cuisine serving the finest ingredients supervised and cooked by our Hong Kong chef, Yiu Chi Chow. He has come up with special 9-course menu, Suckling pig, jelly fish, tri colors shrimp dumpling and deep fried mashed taro with assorted meat; Wok fried prawns with onion in black pepper sauce; Braised shark’s fin and bamboo pith soup; Braised sliced abalone with black mushroom and oyster sauce; Deep fried seabass fillet with orange sauce; Stir fried celery and Chinese ham with cashew nuts; Fried rice with crab meat; Chilled almond jelly with fresh tropical fruit salad; Loy Krathong Chinese Petit Fours.
