Orthopaedic and Anatomy Department, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, in corporation with Zimmer Medical (Thailand) Co., Ltd. officially launched the new Orthopaedic learning center, “Chiang Mai-Zimmer Institute” with the first course recently. The institute aims to provide the needed training for the use of high technology in Orthopaedic surgical procedure, such as Minimally Invasive Surgery for THA and TKA, Arthroscopic Surgery, Computer Assisted Surgery and spinal surgery. In addition, Zimmer Medical (Thailand) Co., Ltd has donated 1,000,000 baht to “The Prince Doctor Fund”, the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University to support the operation of the institute and all the educational programs to the professors of the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University.
