Steel Business Briefing (SBB), the world’s leading international steel industry publication, has chosen Bangkok as the venue for its annual SBB Steel Markets Asia conference, held 6-7 November, 2006.
Over 250 of the region’s top executives are expected to congregate at the Grand Hyatt Erawan for this two day event. Topics for discussion will include the rapidly moving steel markets, future investment, China and its likely impact on SE Asia, Raw Materials and Logistics, and a special session on Price Risk Management - area of growing importance in these increasingly volatile times.
“Thailand has been chosen as this year’s venue because of its large market size and growth potential, important automotive market and strong local interest in the sector,” says Andrew Goodwin, SBB’s General Manager Asia. ”We have also received support from the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), which helped bring the conference to Bangkok.”
