Bangkok Bank, in co-operation with the Board of Investment (BOI), is organizing a seminar to outline investment opportunities in Malaysia for Thai investors and entrepreneurs.
The seminar, which will be free of charge, is to be held on October 30, 2006, from 1:30pm to 5:00 pm, at Bangkok Bank Head Office at 333 Silom Road.
The seminar is expected to provide information of investment and sources of finance - a valuable source of information for Thai businesses interested in expanding their horizons by investing in Malaysia. Topics to be covered include: investment opportunities, high potential industries, current regulations, the investment climate and the benefits and incentives available to investors in Malaysia. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn from the experience of Thai entrepreneurs who have successfully invested in Malaysia.
Speakers at the seminar will include the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) Director Madam Jalilah Baba and Small & Medium Industries Development Corporation (SMIDEC) Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Hafsah Hashim. Thai businessmen will also share their 20-year experience in doing business in Malaysia- Mr. Thanee Laivarintr, Founder & Executive Director, S.E.A. Cuisine Group of Restaurants which is the biggest chain of Thai restaurants in Malaysia. He has recently been awarded Food and Beverage Entrepreneur of the Year 2005-2006, Mr. Chumphol Rangsan, Director, Overseas Operations, Thai Summit Group, and Bangkok Bank Berhad CEO Mr. Saksith Tejasakulsin.
