Thailand’s Market for Alternative Investment (mai) has launched the ‘mai CEO Book Corner’ at Maruey Knowledge and Resource Center (MKRC) to provide information and publications useful for entrepreneurs. Top management will also be sharing their insights at the MKRC starting November 2006.
“mai is promoting the insights and tips of successful CEO to help encourage or inspire those wishing to become leading entrepreneurs, as the CEOs are,” mai President Mr. Chanitr Charnchainarong disclosed. Thus, mai, in cooperation with MKRC, has launched ‘mai CEO Book Corner’ to be a resource center for entrepreneurs and others interested in learning others’ experience, tips, and success factors.
“The Corner will provide a collection of books on successful businessmen as well as the books recommended by executives of mai-listed companies. Learning from others through these books will help inspire people,” Mr. Chanitr said.
The mai CEO Book Corner is located on 2nd Floor of MKRC, The Stock Exchange of Thailand Building, Bangkok. It will house Thai and English books on finance, marketing, human resource, etc. Also, there will be books for inspiration or moral support when facing problems.
The mai and MKRC will also co-host a monthly talk by inviting executives of mai-listed companies to join. The first event will start in November.
