POSITIONED IN VISIONARIES QUADRANT IN PRESTIGIOUS ANALYST FIRM’S WAN OPTIMIZATION REPORT
Blue Coat System Inc, the leader in secure content and application delivery, has announced the establishment of its Thai office to support the needs and growth of Thai market. It also announced that it has been positioned by Gartner in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the research firm’s first “Magic Quadrant for WAN Optimization Controllers, 2006” report published last week.
Blue Coat’s solution is especially important for Thai enterprises and organizations because it provides:

- Adding its MACH5 technology to its SG appliances to allows IT organization to optimize application performance and utilization of bandwidth across an organization’s Wide Area Network (WAN).
- Announcing and shipping its Blue Coat RA, a solution that allows organizations to extend remote access and security to both browser-based applications and client server applications without require the installation of software.
- Completing its acquisition of the NetCache assets from Network Appliance to serve existing customers and, over time, offer a transition to Blue Coat solutions
