KUDU Company Limited has appointed Savills (Thailand) Limited and Hassell Thailand as consultants for its latest development ‘The Lakes at Phoenix’. Savills will be responsible for devising promotional strategies for the development as Marketing Consultants and Hassell is providing architectural and design services Kudu’s Managing Director Arthur Napolitano together with Savills (Thailand) Limited’s Managing Director Robert Collins, and Hassell’s Managing Director Philip Hannaford has recently held a signing ceremony to confirm the appointments. (Pictured) KUDU has conceptulised a Grade A residential condominium development with two structures on the site, allowing for 60 units per building or 120 units in total on the fairways at Phoenix Golf and Country Club in Pattaya. The project is scheduled for completion by the 2H of 2008. Marketing will commence shortly with pre-sales expected in December this year.
Strong emphasis on functional design and low rise resort style living Mr Napolitano said that the contemporary low rise design will have an emphasis on ‘green’ living and will rival existing landmarks around Pattaya, adding to Pattaya’s status as Thailand’s leading resort destination. The Lakes at Phoenix is expected to be a success comparable to major international developments situated on prestigious golf courses and is an interesting diversion from the current trend of less spacious and repetitive high rise beach front property. “Kudu believes that the interest in Greater Pattaya is at a relatively early stage in the property cycle, and that the timing is right to launch a project of this nature which targets buyers seeking a home close to Pattaya, but in a controlled, pristine, and naturally landscaped environment” quoted Mr Napolitano.
Mr Collins added that Savills is fully confident in the long-term prospects for Pattaya’s residential market, in light of steady demand and continuous overseas interest for resort homes in the emerging Eastern Seaboard. “With the developments 360 degree views of the fairways, lakes, mountain or ocean views, we fully expect The Lakes at Phoenix to be popular with families in addition to the golfing community” quoted Mr Collins.
Mr Hannaford quoted “The designs are environmentally sensitive and aesthetically appealing, the design of the low rise buildings will be constructed in a contemporary ethnic style utilising natural materials which blends seamlessly into the surroundings of the golf course”.
