Today (Monday 27th November 2006), Flg. Off. Apinan Sumanaseni, President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, and Mr. Wallop Bhukkanasut, THAI’s Executive Vice President, Commercial Department, presided over a press conference on “THAI’s Projects to Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne” with attendance of THAI’s corporate customers, honored guests and members of media, at THAI’s Head Office.
THAI’s projects include the following activities:
- THAI Value Card Package for the Celebrations of the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne
- Production of calendar and diary for the year 2007
- Special menu served on board
- Sponsorship for the publication of “King Bhumibol: Strength of the Land” in 7 languages: French, Germany, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic
- Production of “Swatch” watches (limited edition)
- Inclusion of the Royal Composition in THAI’s Inflight Entertainment Programme
In addition, on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s 79th Birthday Anniversary on 5th December 2006, THAI will also organize activities to celebrate the auspicious event such as ceremonies to pay homage and bless His Majesty the King, ordination ceremony for 89 THAI employees, alms-making ceremony for monks and support of the celebrations on His Majesty the King’s Birthday on 5th December 2006 at Sanam Luang.
