Thai Airways International Public Company Limited launched “THAI Value Card” as part of the projects to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne.
Mr. Wallop Bhukkanasut, THAI’s Executive Vice President, Commercial Department, said that on the auspicious occasion of the 60th Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne, THAI has launched THAI Value Card package with photos of His Majesty the King since he was a child imprinted on the card surface. The package is categorized two types as follows:
1. 9-card package
- Each card is valued at 5,000 baht (45,000 baht / package) Available 111 packages (999 cards)
2. 2-card package
- Each card is valued at 5,500 baht (11,000 baht / package) Available 5,000 packages (10,000 cards)
THAI Value Card purchasers will receive special promotion; 50 baht voucher / card which can be used as discount for Doi Kum products and additional 10 kilograms baggage allowance. Customers holding THAI Value Card will be able to travel THAI’s Economy Class on domestic flights from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phitsanulok, Khonkaen, Ubonratchathani, Udonthani, Had Yai, Phuket, Krabi, Surat Thani or Chiang Mai — Phuket during 1 December 2006 — 30 September 2007.
THAI cordially invites public and private sectors as well as the general public to join this celebrations on the auspicious occasion. All incomes from the 9-card package will be presented to His Majesty the King to be used under his discretion.
