The Siam Society - Mr. Pichit Maipoom (stand, 5th from Right) President of of Cementhai Building Products Co., Ltd. together with Dr. Prinya Sainamthip, Managing Director(stand, 1st from Left ), and Mr.Anuvat Chalermchai (stand, 2nd from Left), Marketing Division Manager, Thai Ceramic Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of “Cotto Tiles” joined the award ceremony for the winners of the “Difference Design Awards 2006” contest under the theme “Feel the Difference with Self-Sufficient Design”. However, two outstanding contestants shared the 1st runner-up status in the university students category. The two contestants are Worawut Angsupanich (first row, 3rd from Left) from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Bangkok University, the creator of the artwork named ‘Walk on the Railway’, and Sira Chaijitwanichkul (first row, 4th from Left) from the Faculty of Architecture, Silpakorn University.,the creator of the artwork named ‘Appreciative Deliberation’ and the winner of the general public category is Patchara Wongboonsin (second row, 2nd from Left), the creator of ‘Self-Sufficient Home System’.
