Bangkok--29 Nov--Thana Burin Asia Pacific
Mr Andreas Benischek — Managing Director of Ziemann Asia — Pacific Ltd with regional office based in Bangkok introduced his Group today with the arrival of 18 large tailor made stainless steel beer fermentation tanks for a brewery in Thailand’s Pathum Thani province.
Each tank, with a volume of 290,700 liters, was shipped in a convoy of 18 barges along the Chao Phraya River rather than by road from Si Racha Harbour to Pathumthani. The whole journey, from the ZIEMANN production facilities in Buergstadt/Germany on the river Main to Antwerp, crossing the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean into the Gulf of Thailand and up the Chao Phraya River, was completed only on waterways.
Ordered in June 2006 with a tight delivery time scheduled for December 2006, ZIEMANN was able to fulfill its obligations even 1 week ahead of schedule while installation is scheduled to be finished by mid December 2006.
On June 18, 2006 a delegation from the brewery visited the ZIEMANN production facilities in Buergstadt/Germany to see first hand the manufacturing and testing status of the tanks by observing the various production states of their equipment and to get insights about the high quality standard of ZIEMANN equipment.
