Mitsubishi Motors Thailand took over the showcase at the Motor Expo 2006 to unveil the news Mitsubishi Triton, “Mitsubishi Triton Plus” with the exceptional presenter, Jaa Panom , the leading actor to demonstrate its specialty features. Together with other Mitsubishi innovative series to showcase some of their latest values and exciting examples of vehicle specialties.
Mr. Hisayoshi Kumai, President of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Company Limited unveiled “Mitsubishi Triton Plus,” the new Civilization of the 2 WD pickup with the 4 WD style to fulfill the customers’ needs and lifestyle at Bangkok Motors Expo held at the Impact Arena, Muangtong Thani , from November 29 to December 11,2006.
“Mitsubishi Triton Plus,” the 2 WD pickup is the innovative vehicle output of the development to match the city lifestyle with its appeals and attracting features from the latest development and facelift for its designs and options to suit the increasing needs of customers. The exterior appearance of sporting style of the raised 4 WD vehicle is a direct output to fulfill the elegant lifestyle with P-L-U-S, Plus. The elegance comes from the PLUS features : P-Performance, which is more powerful than any performance ;L-LUXURY, which is more splendid and luxurious than any luxury ; U-UTILITY, the real multi — utility, which is more beneficial and functional than any utility; and S — SAFETY, which is safer than any standards and measures.
“I believe that Triton Plus is the automotive vehicle to add colors to the pickup market in Thailand. It has been well accepted among Thai customers due to its attractive appearance, its powerful performance, and it being more than just a pickup for general loading. Triton Plus is powered by 2.5 DI-D Hyper Common rail DOHC 16 V Turbo Intercooler engine pumping out the maximum output of 140 horsepower with very low energy consumption . The 4 WD suspension features, Independent-wishbone, coil springs with stabilizer bar at the front working in combination with the Regid-elliptic leaf springs at the rear, which makes a vehicle elegance of body height and satisfaction.
