Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich and Government Public Relations Department Director General Pramote Ratthavinij cut a ribbon to mark the opening of the ‘Puen Koo Kid’ exhibition, organized by the bank to celebrate the 60th anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne.
The event was held at Bangkok Bank’s head office on Silom Road during December 4-8 and included an exhibition of the King’s innovative ideas supporting Thai people and improving their quality of life. The event also showcased products from royal projects, SME innovations such as alternative fuel for vehicles, agriculture, food processing and alternative foods, and cloth weaving using traditional techniques.
All of the SMEs that displayed products and innovations at the event were customers of Bangkok Bank who featured in the bank’s ‘Puan Koo Kid’ television program. ‘Puan Koo Kid’ is the first television program to promote SMEs and has been recognized with a Golden Television award. The program airs on Channel 3 on Thursdays and Fridays at 11:15am, and on Channel 11 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 9:00pm.
