Bangkok Bank customers will be greeted by leading characters from the animated movie “Khan Kluay” when they contact Bualuang Phone 1333.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Mrs. Ruchanee Nopmuang said the bank invited ‘Nong Get’ Aunyarit Pitaktikul, who provides the character voice-over for the young Khan Kluay, and ‘Nong Grace’ Navarat Teacharattanaprasert, who provides the character voice-over for the young Shaba Kaew, to record the greeting and thank you messages that customers will hear on Bualuang Phone 1333 during the holiday season.
“Over 1.2 million calls are made each month on Bualuang Phone 1333, and we wanted to provide a warm and interesting greeting to customers from some of Thailand’s most popular animated characters during the holiday season,” Ruchanee said.
Bualuang Phone 1333 provides a convenient way for customers to transfer funds, pay bills and income tax, get an account balance, find out exchange rates and cancel or inquire about their ATM, Be1st debit card or credit cards — all with one phone call.
From December 1, 2006, to February 28, 2007, Bualuang Phone customers will be greeted by “Khan Kluay” and “Shaba Kaew”. Special greetings will also be recorded to welcome customers during Christmas, New Year and on Children’s Day.
Bangkok Bank was one of the main sponsors of Khan Kluay, Thailand’s first ever full-length animated film. Earlier this year the bank launched a unique, limited edition Khan Kluay Be1st card and limited edition Khan Kluay passbook which has generated more than 300,000 customer sign-ups to date.
