Bangkok--11 Jan--Bumrungrad International
The Royal Trophy recently appointed Bumrungrad International the official healthcare provider for golfers and fans on January 12-14, 2007 at Amata Spring Country Club, Thailand.
The Royal Trophy 2007 is the first event held in celebration of His Majesty the King’s 80th birthday. It is a unique competition played between the continents of Europe and Asia in a team match-play format. Europe and Asia, led by Captains Seve Ballesteros and Naomichi ‘Joe’ Ozaki respectively, compete in a 3-day series of matches for stewardship of the perpetual Royal Trophy — graciously donated by His Majesty the King of Thailand.
Bumrungrad International has arranged special medical services for the golfers, fans, and press participants, including a first aid station at the event, plus doctors and physiotherapists to serve the professional golfers during their stay in Bangkok.
Bumrungrad recently introduced a unique service called “Doctor Golf” to give amateur golfers the benefit of professional advice about playing healthy and avoiding injury. Valuable advice is online at www.thaigolfer.com . Local golfers experiencing pain or injury can also make an appointment to see Doctor Golf at the hospital, where diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation resources can help them play and feel better, sooner.
