PTT is awarded The Best Company in Asia for Corporate Governance 2006, according to Asiamoney’s latest
Mr. Sarun Rungkasiri, Vice President — Corporate Public Relations Department of PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), revealed that Asiamoney, the international leading financial and investment magazine, has awarded PTT the Large-Cap Corporate of the Year 2006 in Thailand.
For the good corporate governance ranking in Asia, PTT won 3 awards which are The Best Company in Asia for Corporate Governance 2006 (Rank No. 2 out of 313 selected firms), The Best for Disclosure and Transparency in Asia (Rank No. 2), and The Best for Shareholders’ Rights and Equitable Treatment in Asia (Rank No. 2).
For the good corporate governance ranking in Thailand, only 31 Thai companies were qualified and ranked. PTT gained the top ranking on The Best Overall Companies in Thailand for Corporate Governance 2006. PTT also won The Best for Disclosure and Transparency in Thailand and The Best for Shareholders’ Rights and Equitable Treatment in Thailand.
