Unlock the potential of the Asian power market
Despite recently down scaling the expected demand for additional power, EGAT still project an increase in demand in Thailand of 9,000 Megawatts over the next 8 years at an expected investment in excess of $1 billion.
With South East Asia one of the fastest developing regions in the world, its demand for energy is also growing at an astonishing rate. Recent estimates are that over US$50 billion investment is required in the region, in order to meet the growing demand for power.
From 4th-6th September 2007, POWER-GEN Asia will receive over 5000 industry professionals, who will gather for 3 days to enjoy the industry’s leading conference and exhibition to experience the latest developments and ideas for the future of the Asian power generation sector.
The POWER-GEN Asia conference is a key forum for senior executives and industry leaders to discuss a range of topics, from the region’s energy markets, resources and environmental challenges to power plant generation technologies and operating & servicing plants, in order to meet the challenge of the growing demand for electricity.
Alongside the conference will be the POWER-GEN Asia exhibition, offering the opportunity to see the latest products and technologies that will drive the industry forward and will see many of the world’s leading industry players on display.
