The Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT) has organized highly successful national book fairs, which are now annually attended by about 1,570,000 enthusiastic visitors. PUBAT has thus decided to organize a fully-fledged international event, Bangkok International Book Fair 2007 (Bangkok IBF) for the fifth time, after the much acclaimed success of the same event in 2006.
Objectives
To initiate and promote the role of Thailand as the buying and selling of copyrights hub in this region
To provide a global meeting place for the exchange of ideas for those involved in the printing and publishing industry
To create a marketplace for domestic and overseas publishers
