Thailand Futures Exchange PLC (TFEX)’s “TFEX Best Awards 2006” have gone to KGI Securities (Thailand), for the ‘Best House of the Year’ and ‘Most Active House’, and Kim Eng Securities (Thailand), for the ‘Most Popular House’.
“The success of the derivatives market in 2006 is dependent on the strong support of TFEX members. In recognition of their dedication, the exchange has introduced three major awards,” TFEX Managing Director Ms. Kesara Manchusree said.
The first award, ‘Best House of the Year’, goes to the derivatives broker with the most outstanding trading turnover and service quality, based on business performance and a survey of supervisory bodies and all investor types. KGI Securities (Thailand) PCL received the highest score in this category.
The same company also won the second award, ‘Most Active House 2006’, for consistently high trading turnover.
The third award, ‘Most Popular House’, went to Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) PCL for its success in investor base expansion, having secured the highest number of investor accounts in 2006.
“These awards encourage derivatives brokers to keep improving, and are a source of pride, spurring them to further develop their services and expand the investor base,” Ms. Kesara concluded.
