Happy Savings celebrated its 2nd year anniversary with a new Customer Relationship Management program — ‘Happy Savings RED Card’, aiming to offer an ultimate happy experience to its subscribers. Happy Savings has already rewarded its members with offerings primarily focusing on their basic needs. Today, it has embarked on another level, where its members' lifestyle has been catered for. In the near future, Happy Savings will leap to an elevated level where its members will be able to enjoy being a part of its 'community'.
DTAC’s Chief Commercial Officer Thana Thienachariya said Happy Savings has taken another leap in the customization of its offerings to meet the lifestyle needs of its heavy users or High End Segment. Happy Savings has over the past two years of its launch rewarded all of its members with free airtime. Now, with the new ‘Happy Savings RED Program', it is catering to the specific lifestyle needs of its High End segment and will soon extend its offerings to the social community level of Happy Savings.
Happy Savings is currently the largest and is the 'one of a kind' customer retention program in the prepaid market. Apart from being the pioneer in this arena, Happy Savings has yielded a more than satisfactory outcome both in terms of churn prevention and revenue increase. Happy Saving’s members have recorded 45% lower churn rate while generating 30% higher ARPU than general customers.
“Happy Savings, therefore, is not only a key Happy’s competitive advantage but is also our commitment to provide the ultimate satisfaction to our customers,” Thana said.
Revenue Department’s Group Director Jan Johnsen said Happy Savings has gained 3 million members, accounting for 28% of Happy’s entire subscriber base. Over 40% of the members were invited through One-to-one communication (SMS and IVR from system). The rest of the member base learned about the program through various media channels, on-ground activities and ‘word of mouth’.
“Over the past two years, we have rewarded our Happy Savings members with over 1,500 million baht worth of free airtime. However, the results that prevailed are far more valuable — as the members tend to stay with us longer and have higher level of satisfaction towards our services,” he said.
'Happy Savings RED Program' he added, aims to serve the lifestyle needs of its 400,000 High End Happy Savings members as through the RED card, they can enjoy discount offerings for when purchasing goods and services at over 2,000 participating merchants nationwide. The merchant categories participating in the program includes restaurants, fashion houses, beauty parlors, spa centers, home decor shops, health centers and etc. In addition, the High End members will receive special coupons to get discounts at 10 leading malls and on top of that they will have an exclusive a chance to win a Bt100 gift voucher each month when their usage exceeds 600 baht a month.
