On behalf of Red Hat Asia Pacific, I invite you to attend the Red Hat Asia Pacific Strategy and Product Media Briefing being held on March 29 (Thu) at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel.
This media briefing will mark one of Red Hat’s biggest announcements to date, headlined by a new go-to-market strategy and landmark plans for Malaysia. Come join us as we unveil our vision of the virtual enterprise and its transformational impact on technology, and how it will empower Asian enterprises with new economics and reduced costs.
Shane Owenby, Regional Manager for ASEAN at Red Hat Asia Pacific, will lead the media briefing.
What Red Hat is unveiling is a unique Enterprise Linux virtualization platform that will enable businesses to achieve what was impossible with proprietary software. Red Hat open source solutions fundamentally shift the economic and innovation model for IT.
But this disruption in IT economics isn't just about acquisition cost. The IT environment has changed. We've gone past the point where capital expenditure is the largest cost component for servers. Operating expenses such as management, administration, power, cooling and real estate are the largest costs today. Red Hat recognized this years ago and is unveiling a strategy to systematically attack every cost driver of IT. Not just the capital cost savings - but to fundamentally transform the economics of operating expenses, while improving service delivery.
