Acer Computer Co., Ltd. announced its success in the sales amount during the Commart exhibition 2007. The company broke all Commart’s records by the total sales of notebook products over 15,000 units during the Commart exhibition.
Mr. Nitipat Praweenwongwuthi, Senior Manager, Marketing Department, Acer Computer Co., Ltd. proudly presented that “In the first Commart of 2007, Acer was successful in the sales volume of our products which is very much beyond our goal. The best success product is Acer Notebook products that we sold over 15,000 units which accounts for 30% of the total notebook sold at the exhibition. Our total sales this year, we gain 25% growth rate more than the previous Commart Comtech Thailand last November 2006 and 200% when compare to the Commart Thailand in March 2006”.
“Our key success factors is that we offered variety of promotions and the most interesting offer is the “Baht Cash Back Promotion” which was up to 10,000 Baht with an easy 0%, 10 months install payment scheme with Intel? CoreTM 2 Duo products, only 19,900 Baht from 29,900 Baht — exclusive of 7% VAT, limited amount of 60 units, and exclusively paid by KTC, Citibank and Krungsri GE credit cards only” said Nitipat.
“Beside this “Cash Back Promotion” which was very successful, at this event Acer extended warrantee period of “Acer Super Care Pac” from 1 year to 3 years. This has been our policy to take care our customers by emphasize on the after sales services. For example, we opened more service centers and introduced many more new services i.e. home delivery or software upgrading services” Nitipat summarized.

Information and Publication Co., Ltd., the Commart Thailand 2007 organizer said that “Our first Commart in 2007 was very successful with over 3 billions Baht sales volume. Notebook is the best selling products at the amount of 45,408 units, which Acer managed to gain most sales volume and is being the first vendor who achieves this leadership consecutively and longest period in the market. This is because Acer poses its readiness in distributing products that come with new technologies way before others”.
