The new robust site will help facilitate rapidly growing trade in the eastern seaboard of Thailand as well as reinforces DHL’s commitment to Thailand and the region. Measuring a total area of more than 2,200 square meters, it also has almost 1,000 square meters of warehouse and office space.. The service area for this new location will cover five provinces: Bangkok, Samutprakarn, Chonburi, Chacherngsao, and Prachinburi. It is equipped with the latest material-handling equipment, including a conveyor-belt system, cargo scan, electric stacker and cutting-edge technology, to allow for higher efficiency to handle the expected double-digit growth rate in document and parcel express over the next 5 years. The Suvarnabhumi service centre, with its 24/7 operations, has an outbound and inbound express shipment delivery capacity of 950 shipments a day. In addition, the new service centre, located close to the DHL Express Bangkok Hub and Suvarnabhumi International Airport will provide customers greater flexibility, such as latest cut off times and deadlines for Airport delivery, thereby enhancing their productivity and efficiency and making them even more competitive in the international market place. The new Suvarnabhumi service centre will mainly serve manufacturing customers in fashion, semiconductors, electronic and automotive industries.
