Bridging Exhibition: Where Real World Business Meets Academic Educators
On 21 April 2007 a one-day exhibition is organized with the following objectives :
1. To increase the awareness of Hospitality and Tourism Graduate Education products offered by various Universities among the Private Tourism Industries and their staff a as potential students.
2. To create opportunities for the Private Tourism sector to meet with the Academic sector and find mutual opportunities.
3. To educate under-graduate students who are interested in continuing their studies in Hospitality and Tourism about learning opportunities on Master level in Thailand.
This exhibition offers a mutual opportunity for potential students who want to find a job in the Hospitality and Tourism industries and for Private Industry organizations like hotels, restaurants, tour operators and airlines who want to find qualified candidates.
The event is sponsored by the Novotel Siam Square where the hotel management graciously offered a group of Assumption University Master Class students meeting space and complimentary refreshments as well as valuable practical cooperation with their assignment to organize this fair on 21 April 2007, as part of their Hallmark Event and Conference Management study.
The exhibition is joined by leading universities offering Hospitality and Tourism Master Programs in Thailand; among them are Naresuan University, Ubon Rajathanee University, Prince of Songkla University and Assumption University.
Mini-lectures and discussions on some hot topics in the industry in Thailand will be held by knowledgeable guest speakers from the various universities and table top displays by each participating University aim at offering a chance for potential students interested in tourism graduate study to get to know the varied available programs and add experience in order to make a career in the world of Hospitality and Tourism business.
