In homage to the City of Lights, the Faubourg Saint-Honoré House has created the “secret-lock” Cherche Midi watch, which combines saddlemaking expertise and watchmaking creativity. An allusion to this historical street in Paris, where people used to come to “look for noon” on a sundial, the time can be approximated by looking through a thin slit in the leather covering the dial. This band can be easily raised with a simple gesture to reveal the exact time. The time is set using the pushbutton on the back of the watch, which is stamped with the Hermès ex-libris.
