Best Western International announced that the Best Western Premier Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport has finalized its construction plans, and is currently preparing for the 1—billion-baht (US$30.44 million) project’s ground-breaking ceremony. The 271-room hotel is scheduled to open in late 2008.
"We decided to go with the Best Western Premier brand for our property, as it is quite flexible and also provides excellent management support,” said the hotel’s owner, Phairach Choothamkhajorn. “Another reason we chose Best Western is the power of its global brand as the world's largest hotel chain. They share their existing database and promote our hotel in both local and international channels.”

The hotel will present a menu of international cuisine for all-day dining at one of its restaurants, while a second outlet will specialize in national dishes, with Japanese, Italian and Chinese being considered.
