Bangkok--31 Jul--TQPR (Thailand) GlassTech Asia 2007 continues its success as it sees a steady increase in the number of world-class exhibitors from various countries signing up to participate. GlassTech Asia 2007 will be held in Bangkok from 15-17 November 2007 at Impact Arena Exhibition and Convention Centre. Recently, GIMAV (the Italian Association of Glass Processing Machinery and Accessory Suppliers) - the leading Italian grouping of builders and suppliers of flat and hollow glass, has confirmed their participation as a major exhibitor in GlassTech Asia 2007. Established since1980, GIMAV is an association of Italian manufactures and suppliers of machinery, equipment and special products for glass processing, and plays a fundamental role in the entire glass industry both in Italy and internationally. As a member of Confindustria, Federvarie and Federmacchine, GIMAV has greatly strengthened its representative presence in the entire glass processing industry and plays an indispensable role in maintaining relations with all private and public institutions. GIMAV is also working in collaboration with Italian Trade Commission (ICE) to support and promote Italian-made products in international markets around the world. The participants under GIMAV and ICE are Bottero, Optima, Schiatti Angelo Sri, CMB Construzioni Meccaniche Besana Sri, Profiglass, Bovone, RO9, Fluorital, Fermac, Antonini, AMIG, Techno 5, Olivotto Industries SpA, and Tyrolit. Many other country representatives have also confirmed their participation in this year’s GlassTech Asia 2007, these include Australia (supported by Australia Glass & Glazing Association), Singapore (supported by Singapore Glass Association), the United Kingdom (supported by Glass & Glazing Federation), China (supported by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade), Taiwan, Germany and Thailand. With the target sales of 10,000 square meters, the event organiser, Conference and Exhibition Management Services (CEMS), announced that 90% of exhibition space has been acquired in total bookings and reservations. This is a very successful feat considering that sales target was increased 25% in terms of gross space compared to the last presentation in 2005.
