Singha Introduces “Loy Kratong” for First Time in Washington D.C

Bangkok--19 Nov--TQPR Thailand Singha, the famed beer of Thailand, is taking the ultimate Thai culture to the center of America, as it today celebrates Loy Kratong at the Capital Reflecting Pool, directly in front of the United States Capital in Washington, D.C. Singha, which has always been very active in supporting Thai traditional festivals and activities worldwide, is today bringing to Washington the joys of Loy Kratong, coupled with Singha Thai beer. Loy Kratong, held on the full moon of the 11th month, sees Thais pay respects to their waterways, the Kingdom’s lifeblood. The ritual involves the floating of lotus float, adorned with a lit candle and incense, along with single coin, with the prayed request that the water goddess to float away their cares and woes of the past year. “Singha wants the world to know more about Thai people and our wonderful and unique culture.
