Singha, which has always been very active in supporting Thai traditional festivals and activities worldwide, is today bringing to Washington the joys of Loy Kratong, coupled with Singha Thai beer. Loy Kratong, held on the full moon of the 11th month, sees Thais pay respects to their waterways, the Kingdom’s lifeblood. The ritual involves the floating of lotus float, adorned with a lit candle and incense, along with single coin, with the prayed request that the water goddess to float away their cares and woes of the past year. “Singha wants the world to know more about Thai people and our wonderful and unique culture.
