Bangkok--4 Dec--NextVIEW NextVIEW (Thailand) Ltd, a leading provider of investor education and organizer of financial conferences in the Asia Pacific Region joins hands with Trinity Securities, ACL Securities, Capital Nomura Securities and Bank Thai in organizing roadshows to deliver basic investment knowledge in stock, commodities and derivatives markets to university students. The roadshow project named “NextVIEW-RICH” is also aimed at creating awareness of the Asia Traders and Investors Convention to be hosted in Bangkok in January 2008. According to Mr. Thiti Tharasuk, Vice President, Business Development of NextVIEW, the project is part of the company’s master plan on investor education. As more sophisticated financial instruments in capital and derivatives markets have been introduced, investors should be better educated and well prepared for more complicated investment arenas. Undergraduates and graduates in Economics, Money and Banking or even in other majors who have interest in investment will soon enter the labor market and start to generate personal income. If involved entities help them develop investment knowledge and potential, these young people can turn out to be quality investors in the future, added Mr. Thiti. Under NextVIEW-RICH project, NextVIEW and partners will visit University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Rangsit University (Sathon Campus), the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) and Southeast Asia University. Reputable speakers include Mr. Apichat Laksanasirisak, Managing Director of DS Futures, Mr. Keerati Laksamikeeratikul, Deputy Director of Seamico Securities, Weerasak Nimkhunthod, Assistant Manager of Trinity Polaris Futures and Mr. Intouch Kachonrit, experienced stock investor. After the roadshows, interested university students and investors can obtain more advanced courses of investment knowledge at Asia Traders & Investors Convention (ATIC), the region’s fastest growing international convention on trading and investment in the financial services industry which will be hosted in Bangkok at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre during 12-13 January 2008.
