Bangkok--6 Dec--Hill and Knowlton Thousands of youths came together for an unrivalled immersive experience of music and art at Inter Action: Art in Motion by HP held at 808 Nightclub, the trendiest club in Bangkok. Inter Action: Art in Motion by HP is a series of electrifying sonic and visual parties held across six cities that brings young people together for a night centered on music and art. With live DJs, visual artists and a host of cutting-edge technologies, young people do not just attend the event, they interact with it, personalise the experience and make it their own.Inter Action: Art in Motion by HP is headlined by a stellar selection of international audio and visual maestros such as Coldcut from the UK, Nu-Mark from the US and Pfadfinderei from Germany. These artistes debuted new sets of experimental sounds and digital art to present an amalgamation of electrifying sonic and visual stylistics using HP notebooks during their performances. Bangkok’s Inter Action: Art in Motion by HP is kick-started by a splash of local flavor: Jay — Monton Jira & Johnny Anwa, with their latest project: ‘Katsue’, presenting their hit song — ‘Pickled Sunday’ that conveys Pop/Electronic vibes. Then Singha — Prachatip Musigapong of ‘Sqweez Animal’ performs their new album: ‘Invert Soul’. One of highlights at the party was a gallery of winning designs from the HP-MTV ‘Take Action. Make Art.’ global notebook design competition. The winning design, “Asian Odyssey,” from 20-year old Joao Oliveira of Porto, Portugal as well as the design of the winner from Asia, “Desolated Imagination” from 16-year old Jeremy Kiraly of Queensland, Australia was on display. Joao Oliveria’s winning design will be imprinted onto a 14-inch diagonal HP Pavilion dv2800 Artist Edition Notebook PC which is expected to be available from HP worldwide in Spring 2008. Continuing with the design theme, HP announced a ‘HP Inter Action T-shirt Design Contest in collaboration with Surrender’ with high street design label Surrender at the party. This is another initiative from HP for youth to express their creativity. The best design will be printed as a limited run of T-shirts. The winner will also receive a HP Pavilion dv2800 Artist Edition Notebook PC. Youths can visit www.hpinteraction.com to take part in the competition which will end on 15 February 2008.
