Bangkok--14 Dec--SET With reference to the report to the Stock Exchange of Thailand from PTT Public Company Limited ("PTT") on November 30, 2007, that the Supreme Administrative Court (the "Court") scheduled to read the judgement at 10.00 am. on December 14, 2007. The judgement is being rendered in a case whereby the Foundation for Consumers and a group of 5 people (the "Claimants") filed a complaint to the Supreme Administrative Court, naming the Cabinet, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Energy as respondents and PTT later entered into the case as the fourth Respondent (the "Respondents"), seeking the court to order to revoke the Royal Decree Determining Powers, Rights and Benefits of PTT Public Company Limited B.E. 2544 (A.D. 2001), and the Royal Decree Determining the Time for Repealing the Laws Governing the PetroleumAuthority of Thailand B.E. 2544 (A.D. 2001). The Royal Decrees were issued in relation to the corporatization of the Petroleum Authority of Thailand to PTT Public Company Limited under the Corporatization Act B.E. 2542 (A.D. 1999) (the "Corporatization Act"). Thereafter, the Claimants requested the Court to order to revoke the Royal Decree Determining Powers, Rights and Benefits of PTT Public Company Limited (No. 2) B.E. 2550 (A.D. 2007), which was also issued under the Corporatization Act. Due to the fact that there may be material information which may affect the share price of PTT, or the investment decision of shareholders or investors from the judgement of the Court, in order to ensure that all investors/shareholders will receive such information at the same time, PTT would like to request the Stock Exchange of Thailand to temporarily suspendthe trading of PTT's shares on December 14, 2007 until the Court finishes its reading of the judgement and PTT has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand the result of the case. PTT will inform the Stock Exchange of Thailand the result of the case shortly after the Court finishes its reading.
