Bangkok--17 Dec--TISCO TISCO Bank’s board of directors led by Dr. Phisit Pakkasem, Chairman, received the Board of the Year Awards 2006/07 from Deputy Prime Minister HE Mr. Paiboon Wattanasiritham. This year TISCO Bank plc received 2 prestigious awards; “Board of the Year for Exemplary Practice” for the best performing board and “Board with Consistent Best Practices” for having been honored with the Board of the Year Awards for 3 consecutive times. The awards were held by the Thai Institute of Directors Association (IOD), in collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), The Thai Chamber of Commerce, The Federation of Thai Industries, the Thai Bankers Association and the Listed Companies Association, and repeat every two years to honor the top performing boards of the SET listed companies and help promote good corporate governance practice.
