Bangkok--18 Dec--Network Agency & Consultants The home builder 3D Housing Co says its strength in helping customers obtain finance has spurred growth of approximately 10 percent a year, according to managing director Visit Monaiyapong. The company has worked with Siam Commercial Bank to help its customers secure home loans at 100 percent of the construction cost. Generally, he said, customers of builders find it difficult to borrow the amounts they are seeking and cannot find the difference to pay the builders. "We are different from other home builders as we conduct in-depth analysis of customers' credit to guarantee them the amount that they will get if they actually apply for a loan. About 90 percent of our customers use this service," he said. 3D Housing also believes its policy of not using subcontractors has helped it deliver quality products to customers. The company has its own labour force of 100 workers, allowing it to build as many as 20 units at a time. The construction of a unit, at three million baht, generally takes around eight months to complete. 3D Housing expects 100 million baht in revenue from the construction of 30 houses this year, up 12 percent from the previous year. It is confident it can grow by a further 10 percent or more next year. Mr Visit said 3D Housing would need to increase its construction prices by 5-8 percent in the near future due to the rising price of construction materials. For that reason, he said that people who were ready to have homes built should make commitments as soon as possible.
