Bangkok--20 Dec--Thai Airways Thai Airways International Public Company Limited announced the adjustment of fuel surcharge for passenger travel on domestic flights, due to the continual increase in fuel cost in the world market, in order to partially compensate for higher fuel costs as implemented by other air carriers worldwide. Mr. Pandit Chanapai, THAI’s Executive Vice President for Commercial, said that the company implemented a fuel surcharge adjustment to compensate for high fuel costs. Fuel costs in the world market have increased on a regular basis, whereby the increase will effect passengers traveling on THAI’s domestic flights, on all classes of travel, and whose air tickets were issued by THAI’s ticketing offices and sales representatives in Thailand and worldwide, details as follows: - All domestic flights within Thailand, for air tickets purchased or issued overseas, except Thailand, at USD 20 per flight coupon (from previously USD 10 per flight coupon), effective as of 10 January 2008 onwards. - All domestic flights within Thailand, for air tickets purchased or issued in Thailand, at THB 650 per flight coupon (from previously THB 400 per flight coupon), effective as of 17 December 2007 onwards.
