ข่าวทั่วไป Tuesday December 25, 2007 08:51 —PRESS RELEASE LOCAL

Bangkok--25 Dec--Mentor International Noppawan Galadee achieved a First Class bachelors degree from Sripatum University (Public Relations) and went on to achieve a Masters degree in Human Resource Development. Following graduation, Noppawan became an Accounts Executive at an events management organisation, Assistant Marketing Manager at an entertainment company, and finally a Product Manager at Kasikornthai Bank. She is now studying for a qualification to develop her career even further and explains why she chose Loughborough: “…I went to the OCSC International Education Expo and realised that Loughborough is one of the highest-ranking Universities in the UK and has been awarded the “Best Student Experience” in the Times Higher Awards. The MSc Marketing & Management programme really drew my attention - the curriculum is designed to equip students who will become decision makers in almost any industry. I am now gaining a thorough understanding of the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) approach which shows how successful companies in the modern, digital economy unify all aspects of their marketing. This will give me the knowledge and employability skills to succeed in the future business world. “I received a wonderful impression of Loughborough University as soon as I arrived in the UK. I very much appreciated a warm welcome from the Loughborough staff who picked me up at Heathrow airport. During the first day everything was smooth, I feel like I am at home because everybody in the English Language Study Unit (especially social tutors and staff) gave me advice and help to register. The town centre is small but convenient with many shopping and leisure facilities. The people who live in Loughborough are familiar with international students and there are two Thai restaurants in Loughborough. I now work at the large one called the ‘Thai Grand’ in the town centre. I love to work here so much because I meet many Thai people who are friendly (and I have had to learn time management too!) “Before beginning in the Business School, I studied a 10 week English pre-sessional course. I lived in Elvyn Richards Court which is on-campus near the University Library. The room is not big but it provides all I need, especially internet access — I sent an email home to my family on the first day I arrived here. Moreover, all new students who study pre-sessional courses live in the same hall. Therefore, it is easy to make friends very quickly. “Yes, I would recommend Loughborough University to any new prospective student because I am proud to be Loughborough student. Loughborough University provides: - high quality education - excellent social life, extracurricular activities, amenities and sports facilities - good facilities for all aspects of student life - a safe place to study overseas For me, Loughborough is the University which provides the brightest future for students”.
