The Manohra vessels are specialised, reconditioned 60-year old rice barges and the first port of call on this culinary journey is a visit to a traditional local market. Your tour guide, an experienced chef, will introduce you to a variety of fresh produce and together, you will select the necessary ingredients for you’re the next stage of the journey. Back aboard the Manohra the chef will lead the way in preparing five traditional Thai dishes as the vibrant vista of river life passes you by. Each culinary step will be explained and the nature of the ingredients will be described. The dishes are cooked separately and you will sample each one, as it is prepared. The Manohra cooking classes are held from Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 12:00noon.
