Bangkok--27 Dec--Spark Communications Amateurs at the Volvo Masters of Asia 2007 had the opportunity to help raise donations for the Emirates Foundation by competing in the “Emirates Closest to Pin Challenge” during the Pro-Am event. Emirates encouraged the participants to make a minimum donation of 200 Baht that went to the Emirates Foundation, (www.emiratesairlinefoundation.org), a dedicated organization formed by the Emirates group with the aim to serve the maximum number of children in need, with the minimum amount of administrative expenses. Amateur Greg Meadows became the lucky one to receive a return business class ticket to Dubai, as the one who shot closest to the Emirates-sponsored pin at the Thai Country Club course. Throughout the Volvo Masters. spectators will also have the chance to win two return business class flight tickets to Dubai from Emirates. All spectators have to do is attend the tournament and visit the Emirates booth at Thai County Club to receive their free Emirates caps, where they’ll also be able to enter to win the grand prize!
