Bangkok--15 Jan--TQPR Thailand SUS (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SUS Corp., which designs, develops, manufactures and markets Factory Automation (FA) aluminum equipment parts and machinery, recently celebrated the completion of the construction of its largest overseas investment (approximately 330 million baht), its new factory in Lamphun, Thailand. It is a sustainable factory carefully designed with variety of specific features catered to be fully suited to Thailand’s distinctive climate conditions, especially the heavy rains, while being a highly environmentally friendly structure. The building is the world’s first* factory in which the exterior walls are installed with large electrically-driven louvers. *As of November 1, 2007, based on company research. SUS (Thailand) began work on the new factory in May 2007, with a building area of 4,049.23 square meters. The facility begins its operations this month, with 70 employees, and will manufacture accessory parts such as nuts and brackets used to connect and fasten aluminum frames.
