Bangkok--16 Jan--KAL KAL are pleased to announce that the appointment of Banyong Narasavat to manage agency channel who becomes the first Thai appointed as CAO. RD is promoted to control all distribution channels, to be effective on 1 Jan 08. Mike Plaxton - CEO reveals that the company has been growing rapidly in the past years. In 2007 the company produced NBI 2.7 billion baht, increasing 172% compared to the previous year. The trend is expanding consistently. KAL therefore restructure the coporate management team in agency channel to respond to the company target to step up to the preferred company in Thailand by 2012, as following. 1. Roger Deacon — Chief Agency Office (CAO) is promoted to Chief Distribution Officer(CDO). He is responsible to develop all distribution channels: agency, bankassure and other channels. Furthermore, he be involved in of agency distribution of AXA Asia Pacific. 2. Banyong Narasavat - SVP Sales Support and Coordination is promoted to CAO. He is responsible for agency distribution. The first Thai CAO. 3. Auttapol Pamornpol - Sr. Manager is promoted to VP Sales Support and Coordination. He is appointed to manage agency sales support team. 4. Apisit Sombatsatien - AVP Agency is promoted to VP Agency Development. He is responsible for developing the quality of agency force. 5. Pornsak Suwanatup - AVP Productivity Development and Agency Coordination is promoted to VP Agency. He is responsible for agency channel development in the South. 6. Kitisak Palunchai - Manager Productivity Development and Agency Training is promoted to AVP Agency. He is responsible for agency channel development in the East. Also the appiontment of a Thai CAO is his intention to encourage Thai management to look after Thai salesforce. His new responsibility is to manage all distribution channels, including AXA Asia Pacific agency channel which means extended accountability.
