SC Assets reveals 2008 target growth 20% YoY Set to develop 13 projects valued Bht 6.5 bn

Bangkok--24 Jan--PR One Network SC Assets reveals its plan in 2008 to develop 13 projects valued Bht 6.5 bn including single-detached houses, town homes and condominiums covering prime locations in central Bangkok and its vicinity. The company targets growth at least 20% YoY and at the same time releases its latest “New Series Home 2008” in order to clearly differentiate its selling points and values added for the warm community. Ms. Yingluck Shinnawatra, Chairman of SC Asset Corporation, reveals the business direction in 2008 that it plans to launch 8 new projects along with 5 other on-going projects with a combined value of Bht 6.5 bn focusing both on low rise and high rise projects. These projects which will be located in different prime locations will focus on middle segment with starting prices ranging from Bht 4-12 mb for single-detached houses, Bht 1.7 mb for town homes and Bht 1.9 mb for condominiums and a 75:25 proportion between for sales property and income property .In conducting its business, the company will place high importance on stable growth and is set to grow 20% YoY this year. Currently the company is developing property projects in different locations under 3 brands namely Bangkok Boulevard for single-detached houses, Centric Scene for condominiums and Vista Park for town homes, and is ready to gear up its strategy to suit the market demand, to clearly differentiate its selling ponits as well as to values added for the warm community .In addition, it also focus on building better relationship with its residents under the slogan “Completed Living for Today & Tomorrow” which is the main theme and concept in its integrated corporate communication. This year all projects will be developed under the “New Series Home 2008” concept which reflects new SC Asset image, after its latest corporate re-branding both in terms of concept and design, towards value for money, good taste as well as creating a better community for its residents. All these are in concern with the 5 selling points in all SC Asset housing projects including 1. Practical Design focusing on adjustability at every slide of the life cycle, 2. Accessible Location focusing on easy access in prime locations, 3. Under the “New Series Home 2008” , all product development focus on modern resort style for single-detached houses, town homes and condominium. In 1H08, the company plans to launch 2 new projects, namely 1) Centric Scene Ratchavipha consisting of 2 high-rise condominiums totaling 700 units on a 6 rai plot of land with a project value of Bht 1.7 bn, and 2) Bangkok Boulevard Ratchada — Ramindra single-detached housing Project consisting of 92 units on a 26 rai plot of land with a project value of Bht 600 mn. In addition to these 2 new projects, the company also has 5 other on-going projects from last year with a combined value of Bht 1.8 bn including 3 single-detached housing projects, namely Bangkok Boulevard Ramindra, Bangkok Boulevard Rajapruek - Rama V, Bangkok Boulevard Changwattana, 2-story town home , namely Vista Park Avenue Watcharapol and one condominium , namely Centric Scene Sukhumvit 64. In 2008, the company plans to develop 6 new projects with one of them to be developed under the latest “New Community” concept. This project will be located on Phetchakasem 81 Road with a total area of 72 rai and a project value of Bht 1.2 bn. The project will be developed and divided into 3 zones including freshly designed single-detached houses, 2-3 stories town homes, commercial buildings, a public park and a club house. In order to emphasize its “Completed Living for Today & Tomorrow” concept, SC Asset has partnered with Thailand’s leading retail outlet to develop a part of the project into a Community Mall, to foster strength and differentiation to SC in years to come. “After its latest re-branding in the beginning of 2007, SC Asset has received such an overwhelmingly good response from its target consumers. In 2007, the company could wrap up its sales for 5 projects consisting of one single-detached house, three town homes and one condominium .Its presales increase in every quarter with a total annual sales revenue of Bht 2.6 bn in 2007, which implies an impressive 60% increase YoY.
