HP Launches New Integrity Partner Program to Tap Mid-market Opportunities

Bangkok--29 Jan--Hill & Knowlton Thailand HP announced the rollout of its Valued Integrity Partner (VIP) Program through which HP and its enterprise partners will work together to address business needs of its customers in the mid-market space.The HP Valued Integrity Partner (VIP) Program is designed specifically for select HP enterprise partners who are committed to delivering more value to its customers with HP Integrity server solutions. Apart from the fact that HP is supporting vendors who port to HP-UX on Itanium with its annual $1 billion investment in Itanium development and marketing, HP has also promised that all HP-UX (Unix) releases will have 10 or more years of technical and product support, and that shipping releases will continue to get enhancements throughout their lifespan. HP has been gaining strong revenue growth in its Integrity Server Business. In Q4 of FY2007, HP Integrity servers achieved year-on-year revenue growth of 46 percent across Asia Pacific and Japan the region1. The servers support more than 13,500 Independent Software Vendor (ISV) applications globally, with an average of four new applications added daily. In the region, more that 1,400 ISV applications including ERP and Supply Chain have contributed to significant customer adoption of HP Integrity servers. HP Integrity servers represented the majority of HP’s Business Critical Systems (BCS) revenue in Asia Pacific and Japan with 70 percent share in FYQ4, 2007 1. HP’s BCS business includes HP NonStop, HP Integrity, HP 9000, HP Alpha and Open Source and Linux servers. These servers support customers’ multi-OS needs including HP-UX (Unix), Windows, Linux, OpenVMS and NonStop operating systems.
