The company targets 10-15 % and 8-10 % increases in its revenue and earning respectively and is confident to become a leading contractor in 1-2 years. Mr. Chirdsak Vitooraporn, the Managing Director of EMC Pcl., discloses the company‘s strategic direction for 2008 that it will focus on being a leader in systems engineering sector as well as seriously expanding its construction engineering market. The company expects that its construction contribution will increase from 25 % in 2007 to 30 % in 2008, while it will set up a new environmental and energy engineering division to cater the continuously growing demand in environmental and energy market. It is projected that its revenue and earning will increase 10-15 % YoY and 8-10 % YoY respectively. On the administrative front, the company has restructured its administrative structure into 3 business units including systems and mechanical engineering , construction engineering and environmental and energy engineering. It will focus on developing its businesses in accordance with its vision, namely the building of a sustainable and solid foundation in the construction service industry under a transparent management with good governance, while its key mission is in offering a complete construction service focusing on main market segments including construction works, electrical and mechanical works and environmental and energy engineering works. The company target to become one of Thailand’s leading construction engineering contractors in the next 1-2 years.
