THAI operates flight to Samui THAI’s Board of Directors approved to operate flight Bangkok — Samui — Bangkok, The flight will start operating twice daily service on 15 February 2008. 2. Approval for budget in year 2009 THAI’s Board of Directors approved budget for year 2009 with the following suggestions - Compare THAI personnel expenses to other regional airlines - Advance Pilot recruitment in readiness for the new coming aircraft - Consider outsourcing employment for non service work - Consider IT investment to increase revenue and decrease expenses 3. New Aircraft Depreciation THAI’s Board of Directors approved to reduce new aircraft depreciation rate from 20 years to 15 years. The new aircraft depreciation rate is beneficial for customers, as the fleet will be kept younger. 4. Recruitment for Vice President for Legal Department THAI’s Board of Directors approved consideration of external qualified applicants for the position of Vice President, Legal Department.
