Bangkok--14 Feb--DTAC dtac launched the ‘We’ SIM package to bolster its standing in the postpaid mobile phone market. The new package will help dtac expand its customer base with the call rate being as low as 20 satang per minute on around the clock basis. This new initiative is believed to keep dtac’s customers satisfied. Chaiyod Chirabowornkul, Postpaid Business Division Head, said the ‘We’ SIM package will ensure that pairs of buddies or lovers will “feel goood” for one year starting from the month of love. He said dtac has launched a limited number of 50,000 ‘We’ SIM packages and each package contains two SIMs with similar numbers. The call rate between the two numbers is as low as 20 satang per minute, which responds to the need of customers who make calls mostly between two numbers. “We have monitored statistics of mobile phone usage and found that many users made calls just between two numbers. So we expect that the new package will draw new customers to join us while we will be able to retain our current customer base by offering a discount of 10 percent of monthly fee for current customers who switch to the new package. Moreover, we will launch new services throughout the year to maintain our customer base,” Chaiyod said. Only 50,000 ‘We’ SIM packages or 100,000 numbers are available at dtac shops and dtac distributors nationwide. The call rate between the two numbers of the same SIM package is only 20 satang per minute on around the clock basis. The customers of the ‘We’ package is charged Bt1 per minute when calling numbers outside their SIM package. Each customer is charged Bt200 for monthly fee, which can be used for making call. Current customers of dtac postpaid services, who have paid their bills for at least three months, can switch to the ‘We’ package and are entitled to 10 percent discount for 12 billing cycles. To be eligible to the privilege, customers must register for the package between February 14 and March 31 2008. “The game is over but the challenge remains.” Witness the force of the dtac people from the “Impossible Race” mission at www.impossiblerace.wordpress.com Contact dtac Customers 1678 dtac Call Center Press Media Relations Division - dtac Matchima 081-655-2173 Suchalee 081-710-9879 Ponnana 081-623-9895 Songkram 081-550-2563 Siriporn 081-612-9809
