Bangkok--28 Feb--DTAC Happy introduces the new dual SIM package, called Suriyan — Chandra, offering customers to make cheap calls at 50 satang per minute to all networks, around the clock. Thana Thienachariya, dtac’s Chief Commercial Officer, said an impression in the legendary love of Suriyan, the god of Sun, and the Chandra, the god of Moon, who share the same sky but have to live completely apart, prompted Happy to introduce the first ‘Story SIM’ package in the telecom industry. dtac uses the legend as a new approach to better promote this new promotion. He said dtac’s new package provides two similar numbers or numbers, which are close together, to cater the need of customers who want to make calls both in daytime and nighttime. Customers can make calls at cheap rate of 50 satang per a minute to all networks on around the clock basis by using the Suriyan SIM in the daytime and Chandra SIM in the nighttime. He noted that some promotions also require customers to pay very expensive rate for the first minute of the call and the condition of the expensive rate may be stated as a remark printed in very small letters and the customers may not notice that condition. “But our package allows customers to call numbers of all networks at the cheap rate of 50 satang from the first to the last minute. The Suriyan SIM allows customers to make calls at the cheap rate for 12 hours from sunrise to sunset while the Chandra SIM provides cheap call rate for 12 hours from the moonrise until morning. Apart from making our customers feel goood, the Suriyan - Chandra SIMs also reflect the fun attached to the Happy brand and the proud of the Happy team to overcome the curse of the love legend of the two gods, allowing them to live together in the package. The dual Suriyan - Chandra SIMs package consists of two SIM cards: the Suriyan SIM for calling from 6 am to 6 pm at the rate of 50 satang per minute and the Chandra SIM for calling from 10 pm to 10 am at 50 satang per minute. The rate is applied to calls to all networks. Calling outside the promotion hours is charged at Bt2 per minute. Customers can subscribe now until March 31 to be eligible for the promotion rate, which is good until December 31 2008.
