Bangkok--13 Mar--Star PR CEVA Logistics Thailand Ltd., the market leader in automotive logistics in Thailand, has added to its expanding portfolio of automotive clients with the announcement that Hino Motors Manufacturing (Thailand) Ltd. has signed an 8-year contract with the company. As part of the contract, CEVA has implemented its best of breed automotive logistics processes to manage a dedicated milkrun operation to support Hino’s truck production plant in Teparak, Samutprakarn. As part of the agreement, CEVA collects parts from six Hino suppliers and delivers them to the Hino plant. The collections vary from 1-20 times per day with deliveries being made within a 30 minute time frame. To fulfil these requirements, 19 six-wheel trucks are dedicated to Hino to ensure an efficient and cost effective operation. In addition, CEVA has deployed 25 staff to support the production process.
