Bangkok--2 Apr--Aziam Burson-Marsteller Pepsi-Cola (Thai) Trading Co., Ltd. announced the appointment of Eric Kitjatanapan as Beverage Commercial Director, effective 1 April 2008. This is a new position that has been createdas the result of a corporate realignment process that is focusing on increasing management efficiency. In his new position, Eric will lead the sales and marketing department for the Beverage Business Unit in Thailand with direct responsibility for driving the development and execution of the strategic beverage business plan, ensuring an effective organizational structure, and overseeing the bottler relationship and facilitating alignment. Eric Kitjatanapan has over 18 years of financial and commercial management experience in the fast moving consumer goods industry in Thailand. He joined Pepsi-Cola (Thai) Trading Co., Ltd. in 1998 as CFO/Franchise Director with responsibility for financial planning, accounting, and treasury operations in the Greater Mekong Region including Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. Eric’s accomplishments include leading the development of both the long-term strategic and annual business plans for the combined Pepsi-Cola and bottler organizations within Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia, undertaking a detailed channel analysis program that identified key business opportunities as well as overseeing the transfer of best practices to bottler organizations.
