Bangkok--10 Apr--Chevron Thailand Tara Tiradnakorn (2nd left), President of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. and Mr. Scott Cummins (2nd right), Vice President, on behalf of the subsidiaries of J. Ray McDermott S. A. signed a contract for an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) for the Platong Gas II projects in the Gulf of Thailand. The construction is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2008. The Platong Gas II facilities are expected to be installed in 2010 with start up scheduled for 2011. The 19,000 ton central processing platform to be constructed in this project is a technological achievement that is expected to be one of the largest of its kind in the Gulf of Thailand.
