Bangkok--16 Apr--PTTEP PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP is now ready to start test run of its second train processing facility at Arthit Project. The facility will allow PTTEP to raise the gas production up to the targeted 330 million standard cubic feet per day of natural gas (mmscfd). Arthit Project started production on March 26, 2008 at the initial rate of 80 mmscfd. The flow rate gradually went up to 200 mmscfd at present. Meanwhile, Yetagun Project in Myanmar has now resumed production and natural gas from the project has started flowing since April 10, 2008 at the normal rate of 400 mmscfd. PTTEP Chief Executive Officer, Anon Sirisaengtaksin (นายอนนต์ สิริแสงทักษิณ), said he expects that the production of natural gas from Arthit Project will reach the targeted 330 mmscfd after the test run of the second train processing facility is accomplished which is estimated at no later than April.
