Ltd., the organizer and promoter of the renowned annual 3-day International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend, recently organized a press conference in New Delhi to announce that Bangkok has been designated as the 9th destination for this year’s event, which would be held during June 6 — 8, 2008. The press conference also provided a platform to announce the nominations for the IDEA IIFA Awards 2008, and voting for the coveted awards commenced on iifabuzz.com and will continue till end of May. IIFAbuzz.com is IIFA’s very own consumer interactive portal which is being launched from this year. It is a platform where information on IIFA and Indian Cinema will be available to viewers and fans at a click. IIFA Bling Collection, an exclusive premium fashion line, inspired by the glitz and glam of the Indian Cinema, was also introduced at the event.
